Hello class,
With your paper done or almost done, how do you feel? Wow this is so hard to answer because I am rewriting almost my whole paper and have not been able to finish it as of yet. I think I feel more overwhelmed now than before because I have not had anyone read over my paper as of yet and to be honest I need someone that will be more objective because my family feels everything I do is good and we all know this is not always the case lol.
Do you feel nervous, accomplished, or just plain tired? I believe this one has already been answered, but I really must add that I am tired of writing about Acromegaly, I believe I feel this way because my grandson is still being monitored for this and we will not have any really answers until he is about 5 years of age. The more research I do the more I find that can go wrong with this disease and it is very overwhelming.
How do you feel about writing at this point? Has your idea of writing changed throughout the course? Lets see for the first part of this I feel that everything that we have learned about writing takes a lot more practice in the informal style of writing which I still have not had to do so much of as of yet. I know that it is going to be very useful in the future, since I am going for Medical Transcription and who will take my transcripts seriously if it looks as though it has been written by a grade school student? Yes my writing ideas have change, I see how un-useful slang words really are and how childish it looks for a 45 year old to be writing in the first place.Do not get me wrong between you and your friends it is fine but all of my writing included slang, not such a good thing when writing to the school principle for one oh your children.
What other topics would you like to research?
Along with Acromegaly/ Gigantism there are other conditions such as McCune- Albright Syndrome (MAS), That I would love to learn more about.

Thanks for your interest in the rare disease.

Great job this term, Davora. I hope you continue to learn about this disease, and I truly hope that your grandson has a long and healthy life. He is certainly cute!
