Hello Class

This week we post about what we have been going through for the past six week, wow that's a lot of writing LOL, let's see I have taken my last Chemotherapy or so I thought was my last treatment, I found out yesterday that I will have to begin another round of 26 treatments so that has me in a bit of a funk, The President of the United States of American came to the restaurant where I work and had a Cheeseburger and French fries,And I am currently in Jerusalem celebrating Chanukah. It's really been a full six weeks and It is hard to believe that we are in unit 6 already, time is really flying by. Lets see as far as my topic I have chosen to write about The myths beyond Acromegaly/ gigantism disease. As most of you already know the first time I have ever heard of this is when Caleb (my grandson) had to be tested for acromegaly.I thought this was a good topic because there maybe so many others just like myself who have never heard of this and well now I know there have been many documentaries on the discovery channel, and so many articles over the inter net that it really is a hard subject to write about. I have to be careful which articles I choose to make sure they are credible.It amazes me how once a person over 7 feet tall was concidered to be some kind of freak of nature to becoming not such a big deal today. Well I am hoping I do a good job on my final project and I hope that I can keep it interesting enough not to put everyone to sleep time will tell. Be well all see you in class.
